Your cash register requires a ‘back up’ battery change. 

  • Turn key to REG
  • LEAVE THE POWER ON   -  DO NOT TURN YOUR MACHINE OFF
  • Remove the printer cover
  • Open the battery cover (behind the paper roll slot)
  • Replace the AA batteries with NEW ones
  • The L should disappear from your display
  • Press MODE
  • Select option 6 : PGM MODE
  • Scroll down the list and select DATE & TIME
  • Enter the date in the format of DD/MM/YYYY press TL (sometimes labeled CASH)
  • Enter the time in the 24hr format i.e. 1.15pm = 1315 press TL (sometimes labeled CASH)
  • Continue to press ESC/CANCEL until you return to the Register screen
  • Press Clear
  • Press SUBTOTAL (labeled ST or STBL)
  • Enter the amount of cash given for the sale
  • Press TL (sometimes labeled CASH)
  • Remove the printer cover
  • Remove and load the paper again
  • Press CL (clear)
  • Remove the printer cover
  • Remove and load the paper again
  • Press CL (clear)
  • Remove the product from the scale
  • Press OK to error message
  • Place the product on the scale
  • Check that the scale weight is NOT fluctuating
  • Check the scale is level
  • Try again
  • Press YES to Retry
  • Check your internet connection is active
  • Double click on IPS Client
  • Check to see that the Pos Server is online
  • Call for service 
  • Press retry, wait a few seconds.
  • If the message pops up again check printer connections
  • Check the error light on the printer
  • Re-load the paper
  • Press Retry

  • Close the Selling screen to go to the back office
  • Select HELP
  • Select IDEALPOS SUPPORT
  • A splash screen will appear, press QUICK SUPPORT
  • The IPS utility will open, press QUICK SUPPORT
  • When asked please provide us with the ID an Password
